Cata-Kor(Previously Reus-Research)

This is a supplement brand analysis of Cata-Kor Previously known as Reus-Research.

We have a lot to say about this brand and the person who claims to run it, but first let us look at the independent testing data.

ChromaDex released a paper in February 2025 which tested supplements that claim to contain NR using HPLC test method. Rues-Research possibly being the most popular NAD supplement in the USA was tested by them multiple times. The paper states that these products were tested over four different times showing showing this is not a one off event.

The results for Reus-Research were as follows

These results ranged from 2.2%-9.4% of the label claim for NR.

Reus Research was going to be a brand we were going to test ourselves because a brand we tested using a 3rd party laboratory(HPLC method) for NMNH, Advantage Nutra contained No detectable amount of NMNH.

The trademark's owner according to the USPTO also seems to be the same person who is the founder of Cata-Kor(Reus-Research) according to LinkedIn.

With the rebrand from Reus-Research to Cata-Kor they did a formulation change, and that formulation has not been tested. It is possible that they are now meeting label claim as they are a large company now and the risk of continuing to sell a product with such a small percent of label claim does not make mathematical sense.

Update: In May of 2025 the same company ChromaDex now going by Niagen Bioscience released a paper where they tested 2 of Cata-Kors Products. These were Liposomal NAD+ products. They tested the NAD+ portion of the supplement and they did meet label claim. Niagen showed the results as if they did not meet label claim, but this is dishonest in my opinion as they state their LipoNAD product has 50% or greater amount of NAD+. I can not speak to the liposomal portion of their supplement as their is no testing data I could find on that.
